Job Description

We are seeking a Customer Service Associate to support our client’s well-established health and Nutrition Company.

The Customer Service Associate’s primary goal will be to ensure customer satisfaction by asking general customer questions about products.

The ideal candidate will have 1+ years’ experience in a customer service role in a call center environment. They will thrive in a business casual environment.

About the role:

  • Process customers’ orders into the ERP system
  • Ensure that all proper details are properly applied to orders
  • Look up customer orders and invoices
  • Provide information pertaining to order/ invoice dates, totals, shipment dates, tracking information, etc.
  • Receive and document customer returns
  • Help consumers find store/s near their area
  • Direct them to an online retailer if no stores are available
  • Answer general customer questions about products
  • Transfer technical questions to on-staff nutritionist or to appropriate personnel
  • Inform customers of new products or special promos
  • Perform any other duties as may be assigned

Job Requirements

About the candidate:

  • High School Diploma (MUST) Associate Degree or Bachelor’s Degree (PLUS)
  • 3+ years’ experience in customer service (MUST) in a call center environment (PLUS)
  • 1+ years’ experience in the vitamin/supplement/nutrition industry (MUST)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (MUST)
  • Desired personality traits and skills: Strong verbal communication skills. excellent data entry skills (please include speed and accuracy scores), ability to multi-task, prioritize responsibilities, detail oriented, strong follow-through and organizational skills, team player, strong computer skills, excellent problem resolution skills, adaptable in a fast-paced environment and excellent work ethic.

Physical requirements:

  • Alternate between sitting and standing positions
  • Frequently reach with hands and arms
  • Use hands and fingers to handle controls, computer, and mouse; talk and hear.
  • Occasionally required to walk, stand, stoop, and lift as required throughout the work day
  • Ability to see up-close and adjust focus
  • Proper lifting techniques required
  • May include lifting up to 25 pounds for files, computer printouts on occasion
