Job Description

Our Client is a global investment management firm with $17B Assets Under Management (AUM) are seeking to hire an experienced Client Services Associate to join their team working remotely for now with limited in-office presence required for essential meetings estimated at once every few weeks.

The Client Service Associate works directly with account executives by providing daily administrative support to team members as well as the marketing division.

The ideal candidate is dedicated to continuous personal and career growth, has a dynamic personality and keeps meticulous records. They have a minimum of 2 years’ experience providing administrative and marketing support within the financial industry, a BA in business administration and is a wizard in Excel.

About the role:

  • Work closely with senior members of the team
  • Provide professional and superior level of client service
  • Support for current and prospective client marketing efforts
  • Assist in building the market presence of the Firm
  • Coordinate client meetings and calls
  • Prepare and organize presentations for client meetings
  • Utilize Excel to create, update and send client reports in a timely manner
  • Respond to client requests and inquiries in a timely, informative, and professional manner
  • Participate in the on-boarding of new client accounts
  • Relay client feedback to appropriate parties within the organization
  • Develop and maintain strong working knowledge of processes and products
  • Complete DDQ’s while coordinating with other departments, as needed
  • Assist in completion of RFP’s
  • Willing to work some overtime, as required
  • Other duties as assigned


Job Requirements

About the candidate:

  • Bachelor’s degree (MUST)
  • 2+ years’ experience working at an investment manager, institutional manager or hedge fund manager (MUST)
  • Knowledge of high yield and bank loan experience (PLUS)
  • Experience working with separate accounts and commingled funds (PLUS)
  • Experience with Salesforce and Outlook (PLUS)
  • RFP and DDQ experience (MUST)
  • High level of proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat and PowerPoint (MUST)
  • Desired Personality Traits and Skills: Demonstrates intellectual curiosity, quantitative and analytical skills in areas of moderate complexity, ability to handle multiple priorities in a demanding work environment, exceptional organizational as well as verbal and written communication skills, problem solver with a strong work ethic, attention to detail, time management and a commitment to follow-up, collaborative team player, excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to enhance and build strong relationships
