Job Description

We seek Client Services – Wealth Management for our client’s firm in Los Angeles.

The successful candidate will focus on selling and servicing Wealth Management services to high net worth (HNW) individuals primarily through face-to-face meetings, networking with various sources through direct prospecting, cultivation of external referral sources and creative networking with key influencers.

The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and building high-quality client relationships within the HNW market, researching prospects financial picture to develop an informed perspective on individual prospect and/or client situations and possible needs in order to determine how to best provide service as well as to use as a vehicle for selling products which will preserve and grow our client’s wealth.

About the role:

  • Achieve revenue goals
  • Responsible for generating their own leads
  • Manage the sales process through closure
  • Once closed, responsible for transitioning the relationship to a Relationship Manager
  • Analyze detailed complex financial situations
  • Propose the appropriate services to the prospect and the prospect's advisors
  • Understand various investment products
  • Educate customers on the values and differences of each
  • Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

About the candidate:

  • Bachelor's degree (Finance, Business, Marketing) (MUST) CFP / CFA (PLUS)
  • 7+ years’ experience in sales and/or demonstrated sales record to be a top producer in the Wealth Management industry (MUST)
  • Strong understanding of financial service & wealth management (MUST)
  • Ability to deal with high net worth individuals, clients with investable assets of $1 million or more (MUST)
  • Proven track record of success by achieving significant production and exceeding goals, investment sales, a solutions orientation, and a demonstrated ability to lead and/or help support with investors (MUST)
  • Desired business development skills; passion to build a business and comfortable with formulating and executing a plan to grow the firm's assets, excellent interpersonal skills and flexibility to adapt to a variety of personalities and the successful candidate will attend networking events and/or holds memberships within organizations which serve the HNW population in the market.
